Play with me

M, play with me!

Please play with me.

Im so cute, how could you not want to play with me?

I will make you play with me!

Got it! Come get it M!

Heh! It was my turn!

Hanging them all on the top row isn't very nice.

Still have my frisbee.

Oh yeah, she'll play frisbee with me!

Therapy puppy!

Today Ezzie got to go visit great grandma at the rest home. She was pretty popular with the residents. Grandma just moved in a couple of days ago, just temporarily to recuperate. (love you grandma, get well soon!) In the meantime, we will be making lots of visits, especially since the place is puppy friendly! Ezzie was a really good girl and it was clear she was on her best behavior.

She was fascinated with the bird atrium. Unlike her feathered friend at home (who can hold her own with the biggest of dogs), these little guys were bite sized and they moved quick. Like treats. Training tweets!

Natural Pet Center

We discovered the neatest little pet store today. It sells natural foods, toys and treats! It's actually been there for a while, just not on my radar. We really want Ezzie to have the best for her health. I know it's impossible for her to live forever, particularly with a high quality of life in old age, but we are sure going do our best! We love her so much!

Hmmmmm. What to pick?

And the bully bone wins tonight!

Probably not an accurate contest. She's had the bully bone for five minutes, but chewed on her sweet potato rope half the day! It was time to find something new. I like to hide treats and then occasionally rotate them out. Makes it more interesting.

Playing frisbee.

Milo's Kitchen Chicken jerky treats

Dear Milo's Kitchen,

I am very unimpressed with the fact that you make most of your treats in the USA, but the chicken jerky treats are from China.   What gives?

Not buying your product anymore.  I felt a little cheated after spending 45 minutes inspecting every package in Petco for USA made and then ended up with the one item you manufacture overseas.  Granted, I should not have assumed that just because most of your products are USA made, that all of them would be.  Thanks Petco for taking this product back.

Enjoying summer

Today Ezzie attended her cousin's birthday and had fun with bunches of kids!

Chillin in the shade.

Taking a rest.

Make that a snooze!

Queen of the castle

It happened so gradually, we barely noticed it. Ezzie and Simba now coexist in the same room. I won't characterize them as best friends yet, but they have some sort of quasi game where Ezzie barks and Simba air slaps her with clawless paws.

Ezzie returned to puppy kindergarten tonight. All the pups did a good job in spite of the excruciating heat and humidity.

Socializing with the gang.

Let's play!

Ezzie has now figured out how to join the kids in the castle. She is able to climb the stairs and reach the third level in record time!

It's been a hard days night. Time to cover the vent and take a snooze.

Meeting the parents

Today Ezzie got to return to her birthplace to see a couple of siblings, her mama Memo, her grandpa Jackson, and her breeder Cassie! It was so cute watching them play!

Cassie with the pups.

Grandpa Jackson and M. He plays a mean game of frisbee.

Getting reacquainted.

Ezzie's mama, Memo, and Jackson.

Chillaxin by the pool after a hot day of fun.

M got confirmation that Ezzie's mama isn't a poodle and she loved Ezzie's siblings. So much in fact, that she wanted to swap Ezzie for her sister!

Hangin

That's better. :)
Ezzie did great at the vet today. She met a big yellow lab and a kitty. She didn't even notice the techs were giving her shots. Ezzie already weighs 21 pounds and she lost her two front teeth. Another front tooth is loose. She will be four months old on the 15th.

M got to hold another little girl's kitty. Her name is jinx and she's adorable!

After the vet we went to Petsmart for a treat and stuff for kitty and the parrot. Tweety loves loves loves the foraging system and so we picked up some refills. While there, Ezzie met the biggest St. Bernard we've ever seen!

Delicious treats inside!

Beach puppy

Ezzie got her first taste of water freedom today and she loves it! M was amazed that she knows how to swim! And when given the space, Ezzie can RUN!

The ride home was pretty quiet.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great holiday weekend. Lots of family and fun! Ezzie had a hard time with the heat. She sort of lives the pampered indoor life and it was hot and humid outside. Look at those sad puppy eyes!

Tip:   Cassie, Ezzie's breeder, told us about the Everlasting Treat Ball.  And Everlasting it is!~  The upfront cost might dissuade the casual shopper (around $20.00), but it's worth every penny.  This little gem is virtually indestructable. Replacement treat balls (the brown treat you see sticking out of the top of the ball) are around $6.00 for a pair.

Ezzie enjoyed relaxing to the sound of fireworks. They didn't bother her a bit.

All bathed, brushed (teeth too!) and beautified.

My Aunt D and Uncle S have three Australian Shepherds.  They can attest to the truth in this sign!
